An impressive tribute to the 60's Mersey Beat legends with The Beatles, The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers and many more.
The Super Sixties Tribute Show recreates the vibrant sounds and atmosphere of the Swinging Sixties era, from the famous Beat groups from Liverpool and the UK, performing classic hits from groups like The Beatles, The Searchers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Hollies, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman's Hermits, The Trogg's, Manfred Mann, The Mersey Beats, The Rolling Stones, The Monkee's, and many other great groups from the fabulous Sixties.
Since the mid 60s when The Ivy League first had their taste of pop chart success the band has gone from strength to strength. The line up features Jon Brennan (Bass guitar, Vocals); Dave Buckley (Drums, Vocals) and Mike Brice (Guitar, Vocals).
The Ivy League's unique falsetto vocal sound, blended with superb harmonies reproduce their hits: Tossing and Turning, Funny How Love Can Be, and That's Why I'm Crying. Added to their repertoire are some old and new favourites; all of which are brought together with some hysterical zany comedy routines.
The Dakotas were formed in Manchester in 1960, where they quickly gained a reputation as one of the most professional groups in the area. They were also one of the earliest of the bands from Manchester to appear at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool.
Performing their well known songs including "Do You Want to Know a Secret", "Bad To Me", "I'll Keep You Satisfied", "From a Window", "Little Children", "Cruel Sea", "Trains and Boats and Planes".
